If you’ve ever fancied taking part in a triathlon or you’re experienced and fancy trying something a bit different, why not join M Wellness Ibiza for a fun Triathlon Cross in Ibiza?
The Cala Basa Triathlon Cross features a sea swim in warm crystal clear waters off Ibiza’s coast, followed by mountain biking and a short run - then it’s ice cold cava on the beach to celebrate your achievement before a prize giving lunch - those with the legs can carry on to a club!
The distances are manageable: a 750m swim, 14km bike ride and 4km run and with over 6 weeks to go you’ve got time to get in shape. In fact if you enroll for our fun Tri week then we’ll give you a suggested training plan and tips so you’re in tip top shape when you arrive.
The long weekend starts when you arrive on Thursday to meet the team and your fellow contestants over welcome drinks. There’s gentle yoga Friday morning before breakfast, we get fitted up for bikes, then there’s a sea swim, lunch, a break, and for those that fancy it an evening run, before dinner. Saturday we recce the course area, and spend the afternoon relaxing at the beautiful Cala Comte beach with a picnic. Sunday is race day followed by cava and snacks on the beach before a prize giving dinner.
The M Wellness health centre is the focal point for the weekend and it also incorporates the Zest Spa for those all important massages and feel good treatments, and the week includes accommodation, food, bike hire for the race day, race entry, a T-shirt and prizes.
At the time of writing there are still return flights for less than £90 from the UK and the cost of the weekend for everything (excluding flights) outlined above with 2 sharing a twin bed apartment is: £550 (including free use of the gym - single supplement £180 surcharge)
